EAA Summer School in 2007
Pavel BLAHA, Ivan MAZURA and Zbynek SMAHEL (Charles University, Faculty of Sciences, Deptartment of Anthropology and Human Genetics, Prague, Czech Republic) and
Charles SUSANNE (President of the EAA, Free University Brussels, Brussels, Belgium), under the auspices of the rector of the Charles University and of the dean of the Faculty of Sciences
The EAA decided in Budapest in 2006 to hold the
first intensive summer course in Prague, Czech Republic. The objective
of the course was to introduce the general anthropological concepts,
also in the related disciplines such as human evolution and basis of
human genetics. Our intensive course of anthropology was not a meeting
of international conferences and did not consist largely of research
activities but only general teaching activities. These teaching activities
were occurring inside the Erasmus-related activities for Master's students.
Participating students received academic credit (8 ECTS).
