OBITUARY
Dr. Magdalena Skrzypczak

Dear Colleagues and Friends from the EAA,

It is with heavy heart that I inform you of the death of our EAA Local Treasurer and Beloved Friend, Dr. Magdalena Skrzypczak, on October 14th.
Dr. Magdalena Skrzypczak was a lecturer in the Department of Human Biological Development, Institute of Anthropology, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, Poland. She was my former PhD student and member of my research team.
She served for our anthropological society in many ways: since 2007 as a Treasurer and member of the Board of the Polish Anthropological Society, and since 2008 as Local Treasurer of the European Anthropological Association in Poland. As a member of the Organizing Committee of the 17th EAA Congress in Poznañ 2010, Magdalena helped me in managing the conference finance.
We will all miss her in more than words can express.
