| Twice a year, the EAA produces a Newsletter to its members, a spring issue (which is sent to those in good standing for the current year and/or the year before), and an autumn issue (only sent to those who paid their dues for the current year). The Newsletter is, besides the EAA web-site, a means for informing our membership about events and various news items in Anthropology and Human Biology. The Newsletter is organised around the following items:
Agenda List of forthcoming meetings in the field of Anthropology, Human Biology and related areas throughout the world. Please, help us to complete this list by sending information on forthcoming meetings to the editor or the Newsletter (see below). EAA News This item contains information on decisions made by the Board, Council and General Assembly of the EAA, as well as on EAA congresses, and EAA activities. Congresses Details on scientific meetings of direct interest for our members, but not organised by the EAA. Reports Reports of scientific meetings closely related to the field of interest of our members. Announcements Variable topics such as the creation of new associations, journals, news on exhibitions, scientific missions, research projects, etc... New from the Press Presentation of new books, mostly with table of contents and book review. Contents of Journals Tables of contents of some of the most important international journals in the field of anthropology and human biology. Local Treasurers Each issue of the Newsletter contains the list of Local Treasurers/National Representatives with details on their address, bank account, etc... Varia Occasionally there are other items included in the Newsletter depending on the needs and circumstances. Information to publish in the Newsletter can be sent to the Editor: Prof. Eva Bodzsár (Eötvös Loránd University), preferably in an electronic version |
