What is the EAA?
The European Anthropological Association, EAA, is a scientific organisation which aims to promote research and teaching in Anthropology in the different European countries and to promote exchanges of information, workshops, scientific congresses, and schools at post graduate level. The Association has about 600 regular members from 30 European and 5 non-European countries. A newsletter is distributed among all members twice or 3 times a year. The EAA also arranges a congress every two years (on the even years) in a different European host city. The International Journal of Anthropology is the official organ of the EAA.
